Counselling & Psychotherapy in Surrey & Hampshire
Before becoming a psychotherapist, I spent over 25 years working in physical health, rehabilitation and wellbeing.
This included roles in physiotherapy, personal training, nutrition, acupuncture and sports massage. Across all of this work, I noticed something consistent — people rarely struggle in isolation. Physical symptoms, emotional stress and patterns of behaviour are often deeply connected.
Alongside this, I have also experienced my own challenges with OCD and neurodivergent traits, including ADHD and autistic tendencies. This gives me a personal understanding of what it can feel like to live with a busy mind, uncertainty, overthinking and the pressure to keep things under control.
My approach to therapy is warm, honest and collaborative.
I aim to create a space where you can talk openly without judgement, while also gently exploring the patterns that may be keeping you stuck.
I work with people experiencing anxiety, OCD, low self-worth, relationship difficulties and a general sense of feeling lost or disconnected from themselves.
What often sits underneath these difficulties is not a lack of strength or capability, but a long-standing pattern of adapting to others, suppressing needs or trying to meet expectations.
Therapy is a process of slowly coming back into contact with yourself — developing greater self-understanding, self-trust and the freedom to live in a way that feels more authentic.
I offer sessions in Liphook, Hampshire and online across the UK.
